In its over 30 years in the Sugar - and more recently Ethanol - manufacturing business, the Royal Swaziland Sugar Corporation (RSSC) has established itself as a world class producer of sugar and related products. Listed on the Swaziland Stock Exchange and with a turnover of about E2 billion per annum, it employs more than 3 500 people. RSSC runs two irrigated sugar estates, whose combined land under cane cultivation is more than 20 000 hectares. RSSC operates two sugar mills, a refinery and a distillery.
